Spring Yosemite Elopement // Krystal + Seth

September 21, 2021

Yosemite was the very first National Park I visited when I was just 13 years old. I vividly remember walking along Swinging Bridge and taking in the iconic valley views and thinking “there is so much beauty in the world to see”. That 13 year old never would have thought I’d be getting hired to shoot in Yosemite all these years later for the third time!

Krystal had found my first Yosemite elopement and fell in love with the sunset photos I shot at Taft Point. Although their wedding plans didn’t turn out as they had hoped due to COVID and actually had to be rescheduled three times! But nonetheless, I was down for the ride and was so excited when the day finally arrived on an oddly cold day in May. It was SO cold, in fact, that it actually snowed during their ceremony and during the reception at their cabin afterwards!

Here are some of my favorite moments from Krystal and Seth’s Yosemite elopement 🙂

This was the only disappointing moment from the whole trip. We pulled Krystal and Seth away from dinner and started to make our way up to Glacier Point when we came upon this obstacle.

Thank you Krystal & Seth for trusting me with your day, it was one of the calmest and most laid-back days I’ve shot thus far in the absolute BEST way. Sometimes when our plans don’t work out, it’s because God has a better one. And I definitely believe this was all in His timing 🙂
