I fell in love with Florida Keys weddings back in 2016 when I shot my very first wedding in Key Largo. Growing up in Miami, it was one of those places that felt like a vacation but in our own backyards. Key Largo being the first key makes it even more convenient to get to and still feel like you’ve traveled to another country for a tropical vacation.
Baker’s Cay is one of my favorite venues in Key Largo; it’s a very natural and peaceful property with a beautiful jungle path that runs along the water. It has two beaches, water sports, a dock with an amazing sunset view, and tons of places to capture amazing wedding photos.
Kayla and Anthony had the most incredible wedding day and all of the details were so vibrant and seriously took my breath away! Their ceremony had the water had their backdrop but was still shaded so it wasn’t too hot for the guests. And since the weather is unpredictable in Florida, they had their reception inside the event room at the hotel which was so beautiful with floor-to-ceiling windows.
I am soooo obsessed with how their wedding turned out and had such an amazing experience with everyone involved and I can’t wait to photograph at Baker’s Cay again in just a few weeks! Let me know what you guys think 🙂
